On the surface, Nord Sud does not look especially appealing, with its interior reminiscent of a Kindergarten and slow service. But forget these trifles! For a mere €7,50 you are transported to northern France, via a three-course menu including dessert or cheese and copious amounts of crusty, delicious baguette. Proprietor Jean Claude Malfroy is also head chef and waiter, and he exudes charm as he explains the day’s three menus to your table (the fish choice is always especially good). A delectable bargain in a trendy neighborhood, Nord-Sud is perfect for a relaxing meal after an afternoon of gallery-hopping. But don’t go if you’re in a hurry!
