Payment policy
Payment is charged online via credit or debit card once a reservation is processed in our system. Accepted cards include: Visa, Master Card, Maestro. At the moment, AMEX (American Express) cards are not accepted.
Payments via bank or wire transfer may be accepted upon special request for bookings processed up to 1 week before the date of arrival – the amount due must be received within 4 business days from making the reservation.
Reservations can only be confirmed once they have been paid in full.
Cancelation policy
Booking cancelations confirmed by Miniloft Apartment Hotel GmbH more than 21 days before the date of arrival incur no fees, and therefore guarantee a full refund. Cancelations up to 7 days before the date of arrival will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 7 days before arrival will receive a 15% refund. Cancellations on or after the day of arrival will receive no refund.
All refunds are processed via the payment method used to secure the reservation.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS: COVID-19
We offer guests requesting cancelations due to the COVID-19 pandemic the possibility of using some of the value of their cancellation fees as a voucher for their next reservation. This is limited to guests experiencing travel bans and other legal limitations to their traveling, and cannot be extended to other situations. Miniloft Vouchers
Miniloft vouchers offer our guests the opportunity to gift or save a standing credit with our hotel, to redeem on a reservation in either one of our Berlin city-center locations: Miniloft Mitte and Miniloft Kreuzberg.
To acquire a voucher our guests may contact us via email or telephone, and specify the amount and payment method preferred – then, they will receive either a link to a secure web form to enter their credit card details, or our bank details for a bank/wire transfer.
Once the voucher has been acquired, our guests will receive a special code, which is valid for a 36-month period starting on the date the code is activated.
To redeem the voucher, our guests may place a reservation directly through our website, and enter the code in the field Redeem Gift Certificate.
Currently the web site does not automatically deduct the voucher, but it is manually updated by our office staff after the booking form has been submitted. It is also possible to make a reservation directly via email, and mentioning the code.
Once the reservation is processed, the code for the voucher will be used to redeem its amount, which will be subtracted from the grand total due for the reservation.*
The Miniloft vouchers are exclusive to Miniloft Apartment Hotel GmbH, and can only be acquired and redeemed via its own booking system and platform (via https://www.miniloft.com/ or

Miniloft vouchers are non-refundable.

* If the voucher represents a total amount exceeding that of the reservation for which it has been redeemed, the voucher code will remain active for that remaining amount, and for the remaining part of its duration (until the voucher’s expiration date). No voucher can be used to redeem a amounts pertaining to the 5% City Tax (Übernachtungssteuer) imposed by the city of Berlin on private stays, or on any other taxes and fees.
