Between October 11 and 21, 2019, the city’s famous sights, buildings and plazas, like the Brandenburg Gate, the TV tower, Bode Museum and victory column, transform into a unique metropolis of spectacular illuminations, light art works and events.
And this year is a special one. Berlin is celebrating 15 years Festival of Lights. The motto: Lights of Freedom. Celebrating the fall of the Berlin wall 30 years ago, the capital will become the world’s biggest open air gallery.
