Berlin has a big games scene, not strange if we think it is the European Silicon Valley.

There are many important events during the year such as the Gamefest at the Computerspielmuseum or Disconnected at the Game Science Center. But the most popular in Berlin with more than 11.000 participants is the International Games Week Berlin.  It is actually not an event, but a platform. It's like fashion week, but for digital entertainment

This platform, connects a variety of other events during the month of April, including the games business and development conference Quo Vadis, the independent video games festival A MAZE. / Berlin, Womenize! Tech or the Researching Games Barcamp and Education Summit.

In total 11 events during 1 week, in the leading cross-industry communication and networking platform for games business, development and culture in Europe.

You don’t have to work in games or be a hardcore gamer to enjoy our events. Womenize! for example is an action day for young women who seek a career in tech, digital business or media. The Gamefest at the Computer Games Museum is a festival for fans and families, which shows how games and theater, music, literature and the visual arts influence each other. A MAZE. / Berlin also shows the more artistic side of games and might be worth a visit if you’re interested in new media art, good music or great parties.

There are different tickets available depending on the event and also, depending on the purpose of your visit (entertainment, recruiter, job seeker...)
