Since 1926, The International Green Week (in German Grüne Woche) is considered the world's biggest consumer fair for the food, agriculture and gardening industries.
It's held in Messe Berlinand it welcomes 67 countries offering up some 100,000 global specialties for an audience of over 400,000 visitors; also from general public. Most of them are gourmets, pupils and families who want to learn more about where our food comes from and the latest food trends.
Every year there is a different partner country, while last year was Morocco, 2017 is Hungary, that will present its traditions and culinary highlights to trade and private visitors from 20 to 29 January 2017 in a whole hall.
What IGW trade visitors can expect:
- Over 1,500 exhibitors with over 100,000 products from all over the world
- 300 technical conferences
- Food industry representatives, wholesalers, retailers, caterers
- Agricultural importers
- International specialists from all fields of agriculture, forestry, horticulture and commercial fishing
- Agricultural policy and administration experts
