Many of our guests ask us for a nice place for a brunch and, we always recommend the Pasternak's Sundays brunch; also as an option if they are visiting Prenzlauer Berg and the Mauerpark.
The place itself is charming, a Russian dining room of the late 19th century and it with the view of the "Thick Hermann" water tower or "Wasserturm" in the beautiful Kollwitzkiez.
The staff is friendly and very professional and the menuhas a wide variety of Russian and Jewish specialties, including their own house-brewed beer and several Vodkas.
Pasternak offers different lunch options and à la carte Menu for Lunch or dinner. Because of increased requests in the evenings, they only can take reservation on Fridays and Saturdays for the time period till 09:00 pm or from 09:00 pm.
Sunday Brunch hours are from 9 am to 3 pm and they do not accept reservations. The price is 14 euro per person for a buffet full of options, from fish to sweets.
