quinta, 9 de abril de 2009
The great incongruous “white cube” at Schlossplatz (now sky blue with digitalized clouds, by Austrian artist Gerwald Rockenschaub) is not a whimsical freighter container: it’s the Temporäre Kunsthalle, a temporary space for contemporary art.
Haus der Kulturen der Welt: Pictopia
quinta, 2 de abril de 2009
An exhibition at the spaceship-like Haus der Kulturen der Welt (House of World Cultures) embraces the new explosion of graphically pared-down yet bright-eyed pictograms that has spread across digital media, advertising, fashion and art.
