Pantry is an intimate living room of a space tucked away behind big bamboo buckets and brown window shades on the north end of bustling Friedrichstrasse.
It is a chic but cozy place with massive cognac-colored sofa seats where you feel comfortable and love to sit for hours, a wall of golden tiles and natural wood floor and tables. Heiko Martinez a restaurateur with heart and mind for 30 years and who has a sure sense for interior designed the chairs himself and carefully selected the various art on the walls. All together it creates a relaxed atmosphere.
The young and skilled kitchen team surprises with tasty upscale Ibero-Pacific inspired creations that combine Asian and Mediterranean elements like the Iceland char with chorizo beans and green papaya salad or the flat iron beef with three different cauliflowers, apple and Thai basil. Also the focus is on freshness, taste and indulgence. A healthy cuisine with good ingredients and international flair is served. The staff is well trained, very friendly and attentive.
