It could have only occured to an architect couple! Britta Jürgens and Matthew Griffin found an undeveloped space on the border of their forested property and as they are both creative by profession, built a guest house as they completed their own family home. The result is a unique beauty of modern architecture and has earned the pair a bundle of awards.

Guests stay in a great fusion of hotel and apartment-house right next to the owners. Classic design is shown in the old building components, contrasted with new building components. Behind these are revealing ceiling-high windows that offer a great outlook, whilst limiting sight into the rooms. The lofts are between 30 and 50 square meters and are incredibly comfortable.
