Bazaar Berlin is Germany’s most international sales fair for handicrafts, design, natural products and Fair Trade goods. Every year in November around 500 manufacturers and retailers from more than 60 countries present their high-quality goods and exotic merchandise. At this year’s Bazaar Berlin visitors will be able to ‘buy things as if they were on holiday’. Over the five days of the fair many thousands of visitors from Germany and abroad are expected to attend. Well in time for Christmas, they will be able to purchase gifts for themselves and others amid the unique international atmosphere of Bazaar Berlin.
There is something for everyone at this event: Visitors can discover, look around, marvel and naturally buy products in five themed sections just as if they were at a real bazaar. Sections include the World Market (Halls 13, 14.1, 16, 17, 18) with exotic goods and typical locally made handicrafts from around the world, Art + Style (Hall 12) featuring fashion items with a personal touch, jewellery and accessories, as well as Natural Living (Hall 15.1) with a wide variety of health products. In hall 15.1 the Fair Trade Market offers coffee, chocolate, fashion and many more. If visitors follow the beat of drums they will find themselves in the hall entitled Living Africa (11.1), and in the Winter at home section (Hall 12) visitors can enjoy a pre-Christmas atmosphere.
“Bazaar Berlin is where one not only buys articles, but the story behind them as well“, says project manager Barbara Mabrook. „These exhibitors from around the world all have a personal story to tell. And where else can one buy beautiful things directly from creative people who are also the makers of these products?“
