Torstrasse: so many restaurants, so little time! The latest one we’re profiling at Miniloft is the fantastic Toca Rouge, a thoroughly modern yet cosy set up selling delicious twists on Chinese cuisine.
Toca Rouge is definitely tongue-in-cheek – the dishes are playfully named and the prices err on the side of purse-friendly rather than wallet-busting. But don’t think that means the food is all gimmicks and no taste – when it comes to the dishes themselves, they are packed full of fresh tastes and inventive parings. And considering the lack of excellent Chinese food this side of the city, we’re delighted that Toca Rouge is walking distance from Miniloft.
