Located centrally in Berlin, just few minutes walking from our Miniloft Kreuzberg, very close to Checkpoint Charlie, the Deutsches Currywurst Museum Berlin presents the legendary snack creation and its own settings: from the invention of the Currywurst in the late 1940s to the stories and its role in film, TV and music and its worldwide distribution.
Since basically everything in the museum is interactively designed, you can touch, test and participate: virtual Currywurst making, a spice chamber with sniffing stations, a sausage sofa to relax, audio stations in ketchup-bottle shape with iconic songs about the Currywurst or an original snack bar on wheels.
